I find that routines get "stale" after 12 to 16 weeks and I try to make changes to keep them fresh.

When I work a routine for much more than 12 weeks I seem to not make any progress. By changing the routine I start making progress again.

Listen to your body. If you are making progress, then stick with the routine. If you are not making progress, then make a change.

1 - why do all exercises for the same reps? different rep ranges gives you a different response to training...low reps builds strength, moderate reps muscle and high reps endurance...if you only train moderate reps then you'll lose whatever strength/endurance you have and vice versa

2 - the body adapts to the samwe stimuli in as little as 6 sessions

1 - do a variety of rep ranges throughout the week

2 - stop worrying about little things and just train...you'll be sprised

Do you plan on doubling the amount of weight when/if you go to 4 reps?
