Lots to lose

Post by grammypat »

I have a lot of weight to lose and I am really changing life around. I am exercising and eating right but at age it takes a long time and a lot of effort to lose. Anyone else in the same boat who would like to be buddies please get in touch. :D

Hey Grammy! Glad to hear that you are making some changes for the better. The key to seeing results and keeping them (regardless of your age) is to simply stick to your plan. Consistency is the name of the game when it comes to dieting and staying in shape. It won't happen overnight, but if you're consistent then you will develop habits that will keep you where you want to be for good! And remember to have fun!

I don't know about fun but I sure am proud of myself today. I was housecleaning all day , then had to go walk around Lowes looking for shelves, then made supper and then I went for a 2 mile walk!!!
I wear a pedometer every day and I have 11,800 steps today. This is a such a difference for a confirmed couch potato.
I was telling myself I didn't need the 2 mile walk but I found this program in the latest issue of Prevention magazine. It is a 26 week training program to walk a marathon. Well, I want to do it. I want to have changed life so drastically that walking in a marathon will be crowning achievement.
I don't think I will be ready in 26 weeks so I am just doubling their plan and making it a 52 week plan
Today was supposed to be Day 1 so this is why I didn't want to put it off. And I am so glad I did it. Even though I am killer sore. And I did it in 33 minutes which isn't too bad.
I have been struggling the last year and a half and it feels so good to be doing everything right. Tomorrow is weigh in day so keep your fingers crossed for me that all hard work this week has paid off.

Hiya Grammy, can i just say i love your attitude!
and perfect though you was before you were bitten; its sounds like a healthy hobby has found a happy owner. im sure you can achieve your goal! Can i just pass on these tips if you dont cheat with them already?
Drink 2 to 3 litres of water a day, eat balanced meals every 3 hours or so, and if you fancy a snack eat something that loves you back. Fruit and veg are our little hero's yehhhhhhhhhhh!!!! treats like cakes and chocolate can be as special as you want them to be too. not tonnes, and not regular regular....all smiley smiles!!

Thanks for the tips. I do get about 64 oz of water a day, most days.
And I am not a big sweet eater, once in a great while. problem has always been portion control. Fill plate and go back for more and more.
I am weighing and measuring for the most part, and no more seconds. I do 3 meals and 3 snacks and I am keeping calories under 1600 a day. I have been exercising more and more and while I still have to force myself to go and do it, I am doing it. As of weighin tonight I am down 13 pounds since feb 7.

Try diet pills

Hi Grammy,

I think you should do regular exercise and take proper diet. Proper diet and exercise will keep you fit and exercise will burn extra fat in your body.

You can also switch to diet pills for easier and fast results. You should contact doctor before taking on the diet pills. The most used diet pill is Phentermine. There are so many available in the market. To know more about other diet pills and phentermine you can visit
