strength training

how do you train for just strength not for size ?
how many sets how many reps how many times a week etc.

Train your muscles the way you intend to use them.

If you want to be powerful for just a few repetitions, then lift heavy with few reps.

If you are looking for more stamina, then lift lighter for more reps.

What is your goal? What sport or activity are you training for? (Or do you just want to be able smack people around?)

im looking to get bigger but i was just wondering how you would train for just strength lol

strength uses less reps per set and multi joint, compound exercises (deadlifts, squats, bench presses, chin ups, rows etc)

you'll struggle to get bigger if you don;t get stronger
