I need to lose 50 pounds. 5 weeks ago I started a cardio and strength training program. I do 30 minutes on the treadmill at a moderate pace and strength train or weights 3 days per week. I am only lifting 10-15lb weights right now.
I am also working on better food choices and tracking daily calorie intake. I am trying to stay at 1500 calories per day. I am 5ft 5 inches tall.
I have seen changes in body by looking at the mirror and some clothes are fitting slightly better; however, I was horrified to see I had actually gained 5 pounds when I stepped on the scale. I have decided to put the scale away and continue program. How long do you think it will take before I see results on the scale?

basically it said that chicks and scales don;t mix well from all the hormones you have that can "play" with the readings
you'll know from not doing anything if you've gained 5kgs or not, ecpsecially from your clothes and looking in the mirror, like you have
maybe tape measure some area's for a better guide
maybe this could be good for you:
