I Need Help...

Post by kyralitah »

Hi,

I am a 35yr woman needing help with workout routine....I have been doing weight lifting for a year now...and I went from 180lbs to now 135lbs,I workout 6 days a week,I do upper body and lower body, workout on the treadmill and cycle.......I workout from home and wonder if going to a gym would give me a better result.

I don't really diet,I do watch what I eat though...I am lactose intolerant so I don't take dairy at all..... food is pretty limited.....so I can't take protein shakes or anything like that... problem areas are arms, they just don't seem to tone up...they are taking shape but very slowly....do I need to up weight?

and I really need a exercise for inner thighs..

Does anyone have any idea's on food thats good for me...and that i can eat?

Thanks
Kyra

If you're lactose intolerant try Soy Protein shakes, or if you can get it, try this one.

Vegan Protein Shake

As for your other food sources these are what you could have.

Protein

Soybeans

Tofu, (Soybean Curd)

Non-oily fish like cod.

Peas

Rice.

Low or unsalted Nuts

Skinless Chicken or Turkey, (Breast or slices).

Red Meat, lean cuts.

Beans

Carb Sources

Fruits

Vegetables

Wholegrain Cereals.

Pasta

Brown Rice

Fat Sources

Udo's Oil

Cod Liver Oil, ( I think).

Almonds, (Toasted)

Flaxseeds and Oil

As for the Arms, you could try increasing your weights yes.

Exercises for the Inner Thigh. You could try things like Jacknives, or possibly Side Lunges might target the Thighs.

I am VERY impressed that you accomplished losing 45 lbs workign out of home and feel very encouraged to try workign out form home instead of signing up at a gym. I don't have anmy gym close enough for a good price and I probbaly won't make it to the gym often enough.

Have you thought about whey protein to make protien shake?

I like to know what kind of equipment you have at home so that I'll get a better idea in deciding what to get. Can you share the info?

And I am waiting to see who will give you tips fpor the arms and inner thigh exercise.

Whey is byproduct of Milk Proteins, during conversion to Cheese. 30% of Milk being Whey, and for someone who is Lactose intolerant, it might possibly be a problem.
