home workout help?

Post by chris_78 »

hi i'm a stay at home mom to 2, and really need to lose some weight!

up until last sept. i worked out @ the gym with decent results. i got down to 109, and maintained it, but money etc. got in the way and the gym was the first thing to go... so now i have to dig deep, find some motivation and start working out at home with at least half the intensity i gave at the gym!

i'm 5'eff all, and recently weighed in @ 116.

Currently, i'm managing 25 minutes @ 6 mph on the treadmill on days 1-6, 3 sets of squats and lunges on days 2, 4 and 6, some band work for arms and back on days 1 and 5, and ball work (mostly abs, some band) on days 3 &6.

diet is balanced, but there is definitely one or two-too-many swipes of cooie dough etc. in there.

I guess i really need some advice about what i can do at home (on a budget) to shed some of this weight.

I'm way too short and awkwardly built to carry extra weight comfortably, i'm really unhappy with myself.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thank you so much for the suggestion!!!

tris are so red they are glowing right now. If i laugh too hard, abs burn, almost unbearably!! Best.feeling.ever! That is, bar none, the best workout i have ever done outside of a gym.

I checked out the read before posting, but the diet there isn't really condusive to family life, but i'm definitely going to incorporate some of the breakfasts into the schedule. Thanks for the advice!
