cellulite

Post by Brynhild73 »

hello everybody;

I hope others have the same doubts. :)
goal is either to remove cellulite or at least disguise it.
But I don't know how.
dropped from 25 to 17. I look fit, with a 4 pack :) (other two are missing) and legs are toned but the sight of the back of thighs is just frustrating. The zone is very tight (I do hams) but with an irregular surface like bumps, at least visually.
I am also having a tough time trying to firm butt. Even though I do two exercises per muscle, I see no improvement.
Do you think I should train to get a little bit bulky so that the skin stretches and disguises the cellulite?
or should I increase the cardio sessions? :?

Thanks in advance

Could simply a mass thing. A little more mass might do it. Don't forget, if your fat % dropped a little too quickly, the skin might have had problems in some places reshaping properly to the bodies contours.

I agree with you wndwgrl.
I suspect genetics play an important role here, but I feel optimist and think something could be done.
I will try bossman's advice and aim at growth.
BTW, I have read several articles regarding training for growth. Sometimes they recommend 10x10, 3x12-15, 5x5 considering variations in weight depending on reps (70-90% MR) and frankly I don't know who to believe so putting two and two together I came up with this:
-3 circuit training days a week. All three days including 2 exercises per leg muscle and alternating in upper body training (3setsx10 reps, increasing weight every two weeks )
-3 HIIT 20 mins day a week (still aiming at dropping some fat)

Feedback would be much appreciated.

Thank you!!!! :D

Hi hun-
ARGH the dreaded cellulite! As you have mentioned earlier it is a lot to do with genetics, but there are some things I do which make a bit of difference.
First off:
BODY BRUSH! Use a bristle body brush to massage the area every morning until it hurts a bit.
Cut back on caffeine. Boooo!
Apparently a blast on the area with cold water also gets the circulation going too.

In terms of just covering the damage, a tiny bit of foundation or wash-off tan hides it a bit in opinion.

And you know what...I bet you don't even have it badly...if the rest of you is looking good then I bet noone will give a sh*t about a tiny bit of orange peel! Sounds like you have a lot to be proud of and a very very small thing to worry about..so love it lady!
