You could have something like Whole-grain Cereal and Eggs.

Or ou could have a small portion of something like Beans, and a low Fat Yoghurt. Plain or Nut would be best.

Or a small piece of Fruit, left to digest for about 10-15 minutes, then some Low Fat Cheese perhaps.

Those would all be good options.

Bossman... do you think cheese and fruit would be enough calories for that first meal? That would only be about 200 calories or so.... I've always thought that the first meal of the day should be a bit bigger than the rest, then have a smaller meal at the end of the day.

Oatmeal is also a great meal.... I mix some protein powder or eggs/eggwhites in with mine... plus a bit of cinnamon and flax.

Cheese and Fruit yes. If the individual had something like a Banana or an Apple, which would supply 80+ calories, then potentially a lot of Protein and more Carbs from Low Fat Cheese.

Particualrly if the person is consuming around 30g Protein from Cheese, that's 120 cals mote, before you get to the cheese Carbs.

If the person wanted to, they could top up their Fats with some Nuts. It ultimately would depend on the amout of Cheese consumed. Obviously something bigger than a Babybel would be wise .

good for you, juan! juan is right. provided your not drinking too much caffeine or eating high acid foods within an hour of going to bed, that extra hour of sleep will get you roughly 45 min of additional, restorative REM sleep. That last hour pumps up your REM by ~ 35%!!! I am guilty of not getting enough sleep, hence post at 4:00am. :(
