That's great :).

One thing I will say is, (and I hope you'll forgive me for saying this), you need to be careful not to make that loss, any bigger per week, or accelerate the losses too much.

Most people can only lose 3-4lbs of Fat per week anyway as a max, and that depends on their weight. In your case you would be able to do that, but averaging 5lbs a week, is something you just need to be careful, doesn't start creeping up to say 6,7,8 lbs a week, because you could end up with too much loose skin, if you lose too much too quickly, and the skin doesn't reshape to your body.

It certainly does look very encouraging for you right now though, and it's good to see that you have started to do this, as 41 is not too old to make changes, and it won't be one of those things, you'll struggle to do it, because of possible metabolic changes post 35-40 years old.

So you have plenty of time, you're still plenty young anough, and have the biological ability to get the end results, and I really hope you can make it.

Good to have you aboard big guy, take it easy, be patient and nice work.

rate of weight loss

Thank you so much for the encouragement boss man. I believe that weight loss was maximized because of lots of retained water. However I do aim to lose between 2 to 2.5 lbs per week. I will keep you posted.

Yep. Good target. I think if you do aim for a weekly figure like that, you'll minimise any potential loose skin in the future.

Touchwood you should be able to do it like that.
