If your doing just direct ab work (crunches, sit ups etc.) u arent gonna get very far. u need to look at ur diet and workout.

Everyone has abs theyre just all covered in fat. Correct nutrition, Cardio and resistance training will uncover them.

hey there, you could be eating healthy but are you eating enough?? do you know how many calories you take in daily?? You cant reveal what is not there, abs are just like any other muscle in the body. What kind of exercises are you doin at the gym? Incorporate compound exercises such as squats dead pull ups chin ups etc. AND if you still cant see them then theres something wrong w your diet, ab definition is made in the kitchen. SO tell us what youre eating and exercises.

hmm, 3000 cals? i think thats a little too much if your goal is to get your abs to show. but yeah, clean diet is the real key. look at powerlifters. they work their "core/abs" almost everyday but they eat almost anything and everything throughout the day (doing ab work everyday wont do you any good unless you eat clean) so, if you want "abs", 3000 cals is a little too much.

well as long as you are extremely active during the day, 3000 cals is too much if you wanna get to see your abs. How many cal you should eat each I dont know but what I do is I multiply body weight in pounds by 17 and thats what I consume which equals to almost 2200 a day. you need complex carbs :oatmeal, beans, wheat bread/noodles, veggies, fruit, you also need healthy fats such as avocados, flaxseed, olive oil, fish oil etc and lean protein of course chicken fish etc etc. I hope youre doing more weightlifting rather than cardio everyday. well hope this helps a bit :D

What are you eating and drinking? Do you do HIIT type training. Abs are more about what you eat, how much and body fat%

yea I think that's true, the more you do for work outs the more you gotta eat.

All I can suggest is eating as right as you can. High school sucks because you don't have much freedom there. For instance I eat every 2 hours and I even take out the food in class if I have to and I start eating it right in front of everyone.

I'm no expert but I did lose 75 lbs so I can tell you that exercise is important but eating right is even importanter :)!

Hit the gym just like you do, workout every muscle like usual and eat right.
It's a long process, but hey who said it would be fast.

By the way, I've never heard of a girl wanting to work out as much, I love it. If only girls were like that around here

Just a note: Don't think "abs" think "torso" when you train.

The abs are merely the "front-end" of your torso. To pull everything together you need to work the obliques, and spinal erectors.

I think 3,000 calories is a bit high, and you might want to increase the protein to carb ratio also.

Subcutaneous fat (the fat just beneath the skin) is the last to be lost for most people. And that is what you need to lose to looked ripped.

For some people (women especially) it means that you need to get below your essential body fat level. For women it is about 12%. If you start to lose your menstrual periods, then you are below your threshold for body fat and you risk some health issues.
