Yeah, I'm talking about Lat-pull downs with a behind the Neck Variation. The ones done front side I don't normally consider them pull-downs, in the traditional sense, as they often utilise a Supinated Grip, but I daresay using a Pronaetd one from the front would be workable.
That frontal variation is not something I've ever bothered with personally, though I don't necessarily think it's a bad way of working.

It is a pulldown agree, I've just never though of it as a pull-down, and if you ever see a lot of the diagrams on L P-d machines, that show you how to do Pull-downs, from experience they often show someone using a behind the Neck variation.
I'm not trying to say any form of pulldown is crap, but a behind the Neck variation, as many have in the past espoused Pull-downs to be, is not a good way to do a pull-down.
