i'm not sure if is hould be looking at a very "skin like" like picture of a 14yr old but...

are you talking lats (below armpit) or tri's (above armpit under the arm)?

lats - pull ups, chin ups, pulldowns

tri's - push ups, bench presses, shoulder presses

I'm talking about the area off the chest muscle that connects into the shoulder

Do one-arm dumbbell rows, lat pull downs. And if you try chest flyes they might help but it will hit more chest but may still help the area you want.

There really isn't an armpit muscle...all you can do is lower .

I'm not entirely sure but I think that's pretty low for a girl. I would just focus on putting on some muscle and see you stay about the same.

Well you should train like swans has told you on here, fullbody workouts 3x a week and HIIT. You can watch your fat drop by doing your squats, deads, and pullups it's surprising really.

ya... i would read it... but it is so long... haha, and i work out 5-6 times a week so i am on a diferent kind of plan. ya, squats are favorite and i like deadlifts to.. but upper body is pretty weak still so i can only do a few pull ups.

Well that will increase over time. Also, men are usually top-heavy bottom weak and women are usually leg over upper. So you're normal.

Avoid Lat-pull downs, they're unnatural.

The reasons are .

1. The person has to tip their head forwards, potentially pushing some of the Cervical and maybe a few Thoracic Vertebrae outwards, where some of the stress and tension woud go.

2. The person pulls the Deltoids, (shoulder muscles), beyond 180 degrees, into a more tensed position, then go through the movement with a more stiffened or tensed motion range.

3. The person does both of those.

For those reasons it's best to avoid that exercise.

avoiding pulldowns because of reasons that are beyond me but advocating smith machine squats? bossman you've lost me buddy...

pulldowns can easily and should be, to the front anyway so no cervical movement there or mininal...they should be exactly the same as a pull up...

again it's the person doing the exercise, not the actual exercise
