Post by want2getfit »

I know I know another newbie.. Well, I can honestly say I am here to stay. It looks like I have found a great site for resources and motivation. I am tired of trying all the fad diets and want to do it right this time. I am hoping to get some great support and motivation from this site as well as education. Just wanted to pop in and say hello.

as stated above, full body workouts 3x a week, cardio on the days inbetween. the cardio should be high intensity intervals, none of this on-the-stationary-bike-for-2hours type cardio :) you would also benefit from reading the sticky in the diet section "read before posting" it will give you an idea on what you should be eating and when.

You'll be fine. You're 34, so still plenty of years to make changes and get a high level of results, and clearly in the right mindset to do this, so it should be all be fine.

Just be patient and let time and effort reap the rewards :).

Thanks for the support! That was very nice of you to say Bossman . I know I do need to be patient that is one of "fall of the wagon" problems. I am not patient and get easily discouraged. ;O) not one of finer qualities I might say. I really think I am off to a good start with this forum.
