what is the correct fat burning zone
60-70% Max Heart rate.
So what you do is calculate your Heart rate, (the common method being age adjusted), which is 220-age.
Then you multiply that by 60-70%, so if you were 30, you would have a figure of 190 and two seperate figures of 114 - 133.
So that's how much variation you would be looking for with your Heart rate.
As you are 48, you would use a starting figure of 172, then your range would be between 103.2 - 120.4 approx, or roughly 105 - 120 BPM.
