Fittracker question

How to log in the bicycling in the add exercise? when you type bicycling . Go it comes up with 50 watts, 100watts, 150 watts, come on., how are you suppose to add bicycling at 7 miles per hr. for 30 min. educate me please. Is fittracker just trying to be cute or what. whats with the watts?

Firstly, watts is a unit of power, and 50 watts is not too much at all, 250watts is what Lance Armstrong would use to clime one of the mountain stages in Le Tour.

So going on that, if you are cycling at a very light effort, then use 50, if using light effort, use 100, and so on. These "effort" ranges come up for me when I use fittracker, do they come up for you? I always type in cycling when looking for the ranges.

As far a miles go, it doesn't appear you can add this, but you can add the time, and to be honest, unless you are a serious cyclist, the mileage is unimportant. Its the time you are on your bike that counts.
