National Health Educators PT Program

Post by coalclean »

I'm registered to take the NHE program early next month and wondered how it compared to ACE? I have the ACE manual and was hoping I could use that to help me prepare.

Great program

NHE has a very good program. It probably more closely resembles ACSM because of the difficulty level. I would recommend getting the study guide of whichever agency you go with because each cert program will be different from the others.

I've seen the NHE study guide and it looks great. Unfortunately, it's not cheap and you can't just borrow a friends because they have several different guides and exams so you don't know which one you're getting until you show up to take the exam. You're probably right about the difficulty level. The ACE exam was pretty easy and that is actually one of the reasons I'm getting the NHE certification because I want something a little bit more clinical and not so general.

Thanks for the reply!
