End of Waterbury Method. What's next?

Post by madmaxx »

Hey guys so this is last week of Waterbury method and I'm typing this because I have some free time and a few questions.

I gotta say, I love that program and it really did kick just as some people on this forum said it would, but I managed to get through it and I had a lot of fun doing it.

About a month ago I asked what I can do after the 1 month program. And responses were just to switch up the workouts into different days. And so I will probably do that.

I just got done with Monday routine and since this is the last week, it really started to get very difficult towards the end of the workout (not that any other weeks weren't, but for some reason this one is very difficult now). Is there anything I can do to have more energy throughout whole workout? I usually eat about 1.5 - 2 hours before I go workout, and drink a protein shake about 30-45 minutes before I workout (and of course I drink one after workout too).

But real question is, should I take the next FULL week off and then start Waterbury over just switch up the workout days?

Thanks for responding

i think i suggested the days switching thing, just go straight into it when you're finished this one

it will get harder as you increase the wts each week so eat more overall to combat this and sleep more/better

good stuff, I will definitely do that.

Also now that you've mentioned sleeping. I had a really hard time sleeping yesterday. Now does that have anything to do with the hard training? Or are there many more factors that I'm unaware of. Maybe I can do something to fall asleep better, and sleep deeper? Any suggestions?
