Weight Loss Fitness Journal

Post by Sprunk »

Cross Post from http://fitlog2009.blogspot.com/
Looking to get some feedback and reach a bigger audience.

I'm looking to try out something similar to a velocity diet or metabolic diet. Over the past few days I've reading about weight loss and have come up with a plan for myself.
Age: 18
Height: 6'1
Weight(last known):200lbs
BMI: 19-20
BMR(amount of calories burned if I stayed in bed all day): 2116.7

Now for the meal plan. daily meals will consist of 5 protein shakes, 1 dose of a liquid multivitamin, 1 dose of a liquid fiber supplement, 1 piece of frozen chicken breast, 1 piece of frozen chicken fried steak, and 2 supplement packs of Universal Animal Cuts.
FOOD Calories Carbs(g) Fat(g) Protein(g)
Vitamin 45 9 0 2
5x Shakes 920 31 9 197
Fiber 30 8 0 0
Chicken 180 10 11 9
Chicken FS 250 12 19 10

TOTALS 1415 70 19 10

Excercise Plan: I do cardio everyday. That may be going out for a run for about 30 minutes around campus, and doing the bike in the gym for 10 or 20 minutes, or both. Also, lifting weights everyday. Not doing a whole lot of weight, enough weight to get do 10 reps 3x on each exercise. Also do some sort of ab routine and lower back workout everynight because both are very weak.

Goals: Basically just to lose the extra fat all over body, most importantly stomach and chest. Main goal is to acheive a lean, defined body with no pockets of fat.

Wishful Thinking Deadline: Spring Break

Better fucking be done deadline: End of the semester

Today is the first day I've started the diet. I did not get the exact numbers as in previous post because I just figured them out and fine tuned them. Today I had everything except I only had 4 Shakes, and I had a grilled chicken sandwich at the dinning hall. I'm sure I got a few more calories and carbs than desired, but nothing to freak out about.
Exercise: Ran (with short walking intervals) to the nearest park trail only to find dead/destroyed trees everywhere from the ice storm. Ran part of it until I saw it was blocked off, then turned around and ran back. Later that evening, went to the campus gym and lifted weights. Mainly focused on Biceps and Triceps, with a few shoulder and chest rotations in there. Then did a 10 minute ride on the stationary bike, went about 4 miles. All of this is not counting the walking I do around campus every day, which is at least 2 miles or so.

Also, its 4 in the morning right now. I woke up at 12 noon today. I cannot go to sleep. I need to start waking up earlier and going to sleep wayyy earlier.
