Boxing

Post by BoxerQ21 »

I have decided to start training to fight for boxing, i have been training in boxing for a while on and off right now i weigh 168 which waaaayyyyy to much for height of 5'10 in boxing.

So im cutting down to 145 which shouldnt be to bad but i want to maintain the same strength i have now while doing, do any of you have experience with this.

ideally i would want to be at 147 but i think i would be comfortable at 154, but if i cant get down to 147 i would try and make it to 150

Are you cutting weight or losing weight? Two completely different things.

yeah but which weight division is it? lightweight, featherweight, middleweight?

if you dont have a specific division that you need to aim for then id be tempted to stay at your current weight and train for strength. and then enter the division you fall under?

Iam cutting weight....

And 147 is the limit in welterweight and 154 is the limit for junior middleweight sorry iam used to just say the weight of the division rather than the division itself
