weight loss tips

Post by AnnaCruzDC »

Hey Guys! I'm new here and was wondering if any one had any tips for losing weight. I'm 5'2 and about 125. I'd like to cut some fat and tone up. I started using the elliptical for about 45 min twice a week, and a 60 min spinning class once a week. Abs 3 x a week, and 30 push-ups 3 x per week.

Any ideas on strength training?

Thanks!

I usually eat an apple around 7:30am, i snack on grapes until 11am, eat tilapia and spinach around 11am, 3pm i eat an oatmeal bar or left over lunch, 7-8pm i eat brocolli and salmon. I only eat fish.

Any suggestions? If I get hungry, I snack on fruits: apples, pears, grape fruit etc. I'm allergic to peanuts, walnuts and hazelnuts.

I answered this elsewhere, so I'll not do it here as well :).

I've always been told to train mainly one or two body parts each day. So like for me I do legs one day, arms another, shoulders another, back another etc...do 12 reps of each 3x and increase by 5-10 lbs each time. Although, some people recommend for women to do 15 reps with lower weights, but to me that's boring.
