Push up contest
Context:
At work I wear bulky sweaters and loose fitting clothes in an effort to not gain the attention of the botox spinsters. To a large extent it has worked out well.
It does give the impression, however, that I am an older, out-of-shape man on the decline. I am OK with that impression at work (glad for it in most cases).
These is a recent hire, a woman of 24 years of age. She works out at a local gym and is always bragging about how strong she is. The other day she said, "I'll bet I can do more push ups than you."
I suggested that it would not be a fair bet because men are naturally stronger than woman and I've had 36 years of additional time to train and undoubtedly would be stronger than she. She did not believe it was so.
So here is the bet we finally agreed upon:
I would give her $10.00 for each consecutive push up she could do, and she would in turn give me $5.00 for each one I do.
I suggested the terms of the contest. She responded by saying, "I know you cannot do more than 20 push ups." Which leads me to believe that she thinks she can do around 10 or 15. (10 push ups will mean no money changes hands.)
I knock of a set of 50 push ups once a week.
The question: What should I do with all that money?

You might do 50, but if she does 25, she'll match you, so you're putting your pride and masculinity at risk, if she does 26+, offering up half the dividend from her, you're giving back.
Might have been better to protect your hiney a bit, by giving her $10, and getting $7.50 back. I think you went a bit too low in terms of her obligation to pay, and it could come back to bite you good style

niceTo make sure that she does not use a ringer with a wig for the contest we have agreed to perform the test in the nude...
So, really, I don't see how I could be a loser on that regard.
me and boopster will have a crack afterwards and you get the winner to decie the prestigeous Nude Push Up Champion
