I DID IT!!! well in the process...

After almost 10yrs smoking I took the plung to quit! I have tryed numerous time and it was so hard... I am using the patch and diet and exercising to replace bad habit. I just wanted everyone to know that I DID IT...

10 days free from smoking! It didnt really matter to husband, he is supportive regardless of what I do, although without him saying I know he is happy that I dont stink anymore!!!

They did a mock of that sort of thing in Britain once, with a fake band called Stynx, and a video of the boys being chased by three adoring girls wanting their bodies, but the girls all smoked so after about 200 yards they all were left for dead, looking grey, smelly and out of breath.

It was to promote the idea of that lifestyle making you unfit, unhealthy and smelly.

Another one I saw, was an advert where a woman was walking her Dog, and she didn't notice the dog had been eating it's poopy.

She calls the Dog over, and you think oh god it's going to lick her face after chewing poopy, urgh. Then as the dog jumps up it passes out.

Then someones voice says, if you smoke, you stink.

Then at the end, you see an image of the woman stubbing a butt end out, on a Dog turd

.

Just looked so visually funny.

i remember that advert, it was a pretty catchy song too.
