I have come to the conclusion that a built and defined back is perhaps the sexiest attribute a lifter can have (opinion of course). So, I was hoping to get some suggestions on how you all have gained muscle and defined that back of yours. Let me know what lilfts have worked for you!
I'm asking for suggestions on lifting excersizes.
Oh, and for those of you who don't understand what "back" I'm talking about, I'm reffering to your actual back (lats, etc.) NOT your glutes. So spare me the butt comments! Haha

I would add to that bent over flies. They work the posterior deltoids and the rhomboids. (The rhomboids conned the shoulder blades to the spine.)
The addition of these will not only improve the appearance of your back, but it will work to improve your posture. It will make you look taller and give the appearance of a larger chest (for either men or women).
If you watch some fashion shows on the cat walk you will see really underdeveloped backs with the shoulder blades being the dominant feature. It makes slender women look anorexic.
A good back is worth the effort.

Keep in mind that deadlifts and shoulder shrugs are the bane of photographers and women. It develops the trapezius muscles and forever forward your pocket book (or camera) strap will be sliding off your shoulder...azzistrength99 wrote:THanks a lot for all of your comments. I am currently including your suggestions. I have to say, I'm a big fan of Deadlifts.
Other than that, a good idea.
