turning washboard ABS into a 6 pack ABS

Post by navymickey »

So im having a problem defining abs. i have what you would call washboard abs, but i want to define them into a 6 pack. ive been doing cardio quite a bit, but cant get them defined. i have a very strenuous ab routine but they just stay flat.

if any one has advice i would greatly appriciate it.

i would think washbaord and 6 pack abs are the same thing...

i'm thinking your training is way off as you stated that your doing lots of cardio (you've been fooled there) and a very strenuous ab roytine...try heavy squats, deadlifts, lunges and shoulder presses with some sprinting that gets you breathing like a bitch

and your food needs work (everybody's does)

youve got "thin mans abs" judging from your photos. you have very little muscle but because your so thin they protrude a little. you cant define whats not there so i would suggest packing on a few pounds and lifting some bigass weights! trust me when you see the rest of you growing you will stop giving a shit about abs!

hiit is fine, most people do steady state cardio though which is where the prblem is

with shit eating, you're only going to achieve no more then 40% of the optimal results you could..you can't out train a bad diet, simple as that

You may be lucky enough to look good on the outside whilst eating crap (for now), but doesnt it worry you what condition your insides will be in?

I have worked in theatre and seen the results of bad diets, heavy drinking etc... Nice!!!

Maybe you should finish growing into a mans body. Most 12 year olds don't 6 packs

Ouch thats not very nice Bigmac. Didnt anybody ever tell you that size doesnt matter?? Oh yeh but thats not actually true. Hmmm. Anyway Mickey, id say try putting on some weight in the way of muscle and your abs should be more defined. Good luck. :)

I've seen 6 year old kids at the swimming pool with abs to die for.

I wrestled in junior high and most of us had ripped abs (they didn't have the term "six-pack" back then, though).
