Help with Formula Ventures BodyTech machine
I was given a BodyTech (by Formula Ventures which doesn't seem to be in business any longer) weight machine, but I don't have an owner's manual or any documentation with it. The model number is 95300-15. It looked like a pile of scrap metal when I got it, but I've managed to piece together the major components. A couple of the cables were cut when it was disassembled (I didn't see it until it looked like a pile of scrap metal), so I'll have to make a couple cables to replace them. The problem is that I have no clue how the cables & pulleys are supposed to be configured.
Anyone have a machine like this that could show me pictures or maybe suggestions as to where I might be able to get a copy of the owner's manual or assembly instructions? It has 2 weight stacks and 4 stations.
Thanks,
cm

Here's a pic
Here some pics of the machine. I'm not sure of exactly what to take a picture of that would help in figuring out how to assemble the pulleys & cable, but maybe there's enough here to get started.
I can take more pictures this evening if there's something in particular that you want to see. I have two other "double" pulleys to use too. I guess I should have taken a picture of them.

I couldn't seem to get the pictures to work, so I posted URL's instead. I hope that others can see them.

Well, at least now I've found somebody that knows what it's supposed to look like! Could you by chance tell me where the cables from the weight stacks go? I'm sure that the go straight up to the pulley that sits right above them, but where to from there?
If you can get me started on that, I'm sure that it would help a lot.

i'll try best here...
photo 1 - cables from wt stack go straight up into top part with the circle thing...it them runs back down to the one that hangs down to about half way in photo 4
from there go to photo 5 and ir runs back up the attachmnet bit where the pec deck handles come out
this should be the same for both sides
this might not match up pefectly as you might the other cables attached to counter wt this but get back mew whith what that does
on a secong glance, the botto pulleys attach to that middle bit so there will be 2 circle bits on top of each other...this will counter wt it
try and see

Thanks for trying to help out...you don't know how much I appreciate it. I couldn't get very far with your descriptions, so I took a few more pics and added some labels to some of the parts. Perhaps that will help make it a bit easier to talk about them.

A couple of the cables were cut when it was disassembled (why???) and I'm not entirely sure that I have all of the cables, so where they are missing I'm trying to use a heavy string....when I get it figured out I'll replace the string with cable.
Perhaps it would be best for me to start with the cable from station 2 (leg press) because I'm pretty sure that it's full length. PHOTO 15 shows the end of that cable, and it's obvious that it comes out on another station. I'm pretty sure that it attaches to either the leg extension or pull down bar in station 1. If I can figure that out, it'll at least be a start.
Thanks,
Charlie

photo 2 - 1c threads to 1d up to 4 then back down to where the 4 is...is there another circular attachment bit there?
if you don;t have all the cable it will hard as they all "pull"and counter wet each other i think...
photo 6 - i think that's where the hook end of a cable should go as an anchor sort of thing
photo 8 - there is a cable with an attachment hook on it hagning in the air, that needs to to be anchored/hooked to another of those metal tabs like photo 6...you should start from these tabs i think maybe...
photo 11 - they should be on it somehwre obviously, but if you don;t have the cable for it we won;t know where it should go..
photo 12 - look right if that's what your asking
photo 14 - look right
just go bit by bit maybe...i'll look for something similar

I've come across someone that has a machine that's very similar to mine. I'll try to cable it using their instructions. Both machines are Bodytech by Formula Ventures, but they are different models hence the slight difference. They both though still have 2 weight stacks, 4 stations, and seem to use the same pulleys for the counter balance, so I really think that this is going to work.
Thanks for being so kind to offer your help. I really appreciate it.
