Hi All,
36 year old , 186cm, 88kg.
I first posted to this forum around a year ago. I then weighed in at 107kg (not muscle, the bad stuff!)
So now that i'm down to 88kg, i'm pretty happy with myself. I might not be as muscly/athletic as some on the forum, but I'm pretty happy with where I'm at.
question though, what defines "average" fitnerss for your age, how can you now define" I am now fit?".
I can do 40 pushups, run 2.5 k in less than 12 minutes, run for 5.5k, and do 150 situps in one hit (yes, i do sets, but that's just max if I'm testing myself")...I'm just after some opinions on if people define that as fit?
The thing i want to do is shift fat from , as I just can'e seem to shake it..any ideas would be great.
Let me know what you think...
Just a word of thanks for all the regular people who post here, your comments are an inspiration, thanks

To reduce the fat you'll need a really clean diet.
Defining the average fitness for each age is pretty hard. If you're interested you can read this crossfit article about fitness. There's some pretty good information in there.

depends on goals
if goal is endurance then being able to run/bike/row etc for a given dostance in a spoecific time frame
if strength then being to lift a specific amount for a given lift
if muscle growth then attaining a sdpecific level of musculature
if body composition then attaining specific body fat / muscular body
all goal dependant...what's your main focus of training?
