Two Months In (Pics May Be Large)

Post by parantaja »

Note - I've edited this a bit to include more recent pics for comparison purposes, rather than starting a new thread.

Can't report significant gains, but at least I seem to have lost a little fat and have improved posture somewhat. Then again, I'm really taking time with this. After all, what's the rush. right?

weight's been pretty stable. I've lost about an inch in the waist and gained about a half inch in the biceps and calves, as well as a quarter inch in the forearms.

As far as the pecs, well, there's a little difference, but based on what I've read I'd need someone to measure that for me, so I'm kinda shot in the foot there.

Anyway, criticisms, critiques, and any other comments are welcome/appreciated.

your posture and therefore training programs need some work

picture 1 - lop sided shoulders
picture 5 - excessive foreard head tilt...do you get headaches?
picture 5 again - look at your pants waist, the angle it's on...it should be straight not pointed down to the floor

you need to:

- stretch hip flexors
- activate glutes
- strengthen glutes

in that order

and that's only the tip of the ice berg...

Ouch.

Ok, np, I need criticism. That's part of the reason I'm here.

When you say lop sided shoulders, I assume are referring to posture and not the actual development of those muscles? Or both?

If you think that image was bad, you should have seen it before I tried to correct the image rotation!

Excessive forehead tilt - elaborate? I'm not sure what you mean. To answer your question I almost never get headaches. Wasn't really thinking about the position of head when I shot the pics.

I'm still kinda working on workout plan, to be honest. You gave me some really good feedback on another post to that end and I have since begun making adjustments. Of course, it will take time for any results from that to be evident, I assume.

Criticisms noted and appreciated. Thanks, Swanso. I'll take all the advice I can get, even if it is a bit painful.

when you're standing normally your ear should match up in a straight line with the boney part on the top of the shoulder

lop sided shoulders posturally, i don;t care much for size difference from sides to side

what advice did i give you?

You provided a lot of info on Exercise-to-Exercise Ratios topic

about6139.html

I thought I was way out of balance, and your info not only confirmed that but is helping me revise what I'm doing when I work out.
