Is there anyone on this forum that has a similar goal to mine -take a look:
immediate goal: lose 16 lbs by the end of January to reach goal weight of 140lbs
starting weight: 156lbs
daily diet/caloric intake: fresh fruits/frozen vegetables, frozen chicken breasts (on occassion), tuna fish, beans-pretty healthy eating habits
main problem: slight bloating in lwer abdominal area only-rest is flat and shows definition

16pds is too drastic and if you were to do it you'd lose 1/2 muscle and 1/2 fat and would look stringy like a runner. Try for a 2 - 3pd loss per week. Weights are way better than cardio for fat loss so get into them. Best cardio is interval work. Protein and veg with every meal x 5 -6/day will get the job done.
Slow and steady
yeah right I think thats a little too much that you are expecting, anyhow things should be done on a moderate and slow pace, and any efforts in trying to hasten things up might end up giving a immediate success but later on the consequences might not be too acceptable, so perform accordingly.
