What is the difference between L-Glutamate as sold seperate from, for example, a protein powder that contains glutamine and glutamine precursors. If you take the powder does that cover it?
Recently I've considered buying L-Glutamate (but for the uncertainty stated above) and Creatine to supplement diet because it is overall pretty low on calories and I want to work out hard with lots of aerobic exercise as well, but I'm afraid of muscle breakdown.
I don't know much about these supplements but L-glutamate looks like a good thing if you're taking a break from lifting or trying to lose weight through strenous cardio (I know that HIIT and lifting are good enough, but I want faster, better, stronger)

why the low cal's? you won;lt get anywhere with low cal's...and supp's never replace cals...they don;t do anywhere near the same thing that cal's do...
