Cutting Diet

Post by djg »

Hey there everyone!

I am proud to say I have been working out for over a year now. In this time frame I have been bulking for the entire duration and have put on significant muscle mass. I have also noticed a increase in fat and I think it is now time for me to cut.

I have a number of concerns I would like to address. Firstly, I am a 20 year old , 5"10, 188 lbs. I am wondering how I should go about cutting to lose this excess fat. I have been doing cardio 3 times a week (on workout days) for the past couple weeks and have dropped a couple pounds. So I suppose question is, how often should I do cardio?

Secondly, I have been restricting caloric intake since I've started this cut. I often feel very hungry despite eating small meals every few hours. Do you always feel hungry while you are on a cut? Is this normal?

Also, what kind of diet should I have while cutting? I.e. mainly salads, fruit, and low amounts of carbs???

Help would be appreciated, thanks a lot.
