Do you want idaes for classes or just small groups amongst mates?

Depends what sorts of clients you have but things like sled dragging and lifting odd objects such as barrells and sandbags are extremly challanging and fun. You can also use whatever you can get yiour hands on and modify it as such. Good for team challenges and great for fat loss and conditioing but might be hard getting suitable equipment.

Bodyweight stuff such as wheelbarrows (1 person holding another persons legs) and bear crawls can also be used the same way.

It all depends on the type of clients you have i spose as some like competition and some don't.

In this particular class the clients are aged between 30-45 and it is a yuppy gym, not like a boxing gym :roll: So it cant be anything too rough - I want them to have fun and train hard at the same time - Im slowly building their fitness levels, I like the sand bags idea, I saw that on Rossboxing - hes an awesome athelete!
So Im after something thats not too rough but tests their endurance at the same time. Thanks for your reply, look forward to hearing your ideas! 8)

I would try an re-educate them as everyone thinks that you need to do cardio (running etc) for fitness which is rubbish so using these types of exercises builds strength and muscle as well as requiring endurance to complete each exercise. I wouldn't say that these are rough exercises but they aren't common in mainstream gyms either so there is a niche there I spose. Ladders are good for that.
Sample
Do with a partner (1 and 2)
1 does 1 push up...2 does 1 push up...1 does 2 push ups...2 does 2 push ups and so on up to 10 and then work back down. Can either do this with 1 exercise or do as a circuit with less sets of each exercise. Adds that competitive element again.
Some of these exercises don't require much equipment so that's the beauty of it from a trainers standpoint. I'll go through archives and get back to you.

Thanks mate :lol: I would appreciate that very much! Looking forward to hearing from you - I do a similar exercise to that but I get then to roll a medicine ball to eachother after completeing the pushup!
I like the medicine ball - they hate it though LOL!
