Getting it all back!
O.K.....this may sound like a stupid question but here goes. I used to be in great shape like 5 years ago (hard as a rock)...but...to make a long story short, I " fell off the wagon" and gained like 15-20lbs of weight and probably a pretty large increase in body fat. The worst part is....ugg.....the dreaded cellulite!!!!! I know it's gross/embarrasing, but, I'm here for advice, right? So, question is, is it possible to get back the muscle tone that I once had or is skin too stretched out to get it all back? Please..I'll take any advice that you have!!!! Thanks[/b]
There is no question that you can regain the muscle mass of just 5 years ago as long as you are not in your 60s or 70s.
You can reduce your body fat to the same level too.
As to whether your skin has enough elasticity to return to its original tautness is a product of your age and your genetics.
But 15 to 20 pounds should not be a major issue. I would think it would look pretty good.
Seventy-five to 100 pounds of weight lost in your 50s or 60s might require some corrective surgery (to tighten the skin).
You don't state your age, height or current weight so this information might not be entirely accurate for your body.

At 5' 2" and 134 lean pounds you must have been packing a lot of muscle mass--quite a lot indeed.
You should have no problem achieving the same lean body weight with a sensible diet and a well-designed workout.
I would still wonder if 134 lbs. does not represent a bit much muscle for a 5' 2" woman, even if she has a robust bone structure.
