Hello all. I'm new to this forum and I'm posting here to keep track and hoping to get some great advices from everyone.

I've been working out but I've let myself go in july 08 after a vacation
Now I'm attempting to get back on to dieting/working out.

I'm 5'10 and I weigh 175lbs right now. I'm attempting to lose down to 165lbs in 30 days. or convert it to muscle weight at least :T

Ive been on many diets and they do work but they all got negative side to it. not enough calories, restriction on food, time, etc etc

So I came up with method I used in like june and it did work great so I'm gon attempt one more time to see if it really works. I'm going to give 30 days to achieve goal weight

High there!

I think its great that you're movitated to lose that weight and get back into the swing of things... but I'm a little concerned about your goal of losing 10 pounds in 30 days. Thats about 2.5 pounds a week. A healthy weight loss is usually 1-2 pounds a week so you might be pushing it a little. Have you thought about giving yourself two months to lose that weight instead of just one? Typically the slower you lose the weight the more likely you are to keep it off as you can do it in a more healthy manner that you can keep up for a longer amount of time.

You mentioned that your diets usually have a restriction on calories. Ive found that a person doesn't always have to severly restrict their calories to lose weight. If you do it right and have a solid workout routine you should be able to lose weight on a 2000-2500 calorie diet. The key is not so much how many calories youre eating but what kind of calories youre eat and how often. If you stick to 'clean' foods like lean proteins, veggies, fruits, whole grains, and healthy fats you should be able to eat ample amounts of food and still lose weight. Also, often times people restrict their diets too much which actually sets them back as it slows the metabolism and makes it hard to maintain the diet for an extended amount of time.

What does your diet look like? You might post an example of a typical day
so suggestions can be made to help you get started on the right track. :)

I hope this helps..
