Here's plan for a healthier lifestyle...

Post by JacciDe »

Hey! I'm new to this site, and so far i'm liking what I see! I'm 5'9 and about 183 lbs. I don't have a scale.. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but I do have a tape measure and a camera. :)

I'm going to try to start off slow this time, because too much change at once & I tend to get overwhelmed and fall back. I'm shooting for a 10 lbs loss for right now and then I'm getting nails done as a reward. :)

long term goal is to be about 140 lbs. I have a small frame, so I don't know what I'll look like at 140 lbs. A lot better then what I am now, I know that!

I'm a stay at home mom with 2 young children (3 & 1). I'm planning on doing biggest Loser Cardio Max 6-week program every morning after I wake up. 30 Minutes for the first 2 weeks, then in progresses you to 40 minutes for the next 2 weeks, and 50 minutes for the following 2 weeks.

For breakfast I usually have a cup of cheerios with 1% milk and a banana. If I don't have those things, I usually have apple oatmeal somewhere...

Then after breakfast, I'm going to take the kids to the park. It's about a 25-30 minute walk one way. Not to mention all the energy I use playing with the kids at the park...

When i come home, I'll do house cleaning, eat lunch (probably a sandwich) until fiance comes home from work at 3:30. He usually makes dinner which is usually some sort of meat and I'll start adding in veggies. I'll eat an apple somewhere in there for a snack too.

I know this isn't a broken down "by the time" schedule, but this is the plan for now, and we'll see how it goes. I have tried counting calories so many times, and I always fail because I'm always thinking about food and how many calories i need to track, that I'm always hungry. If I just keep myself busy, I won't think about food and hopefully won't snack as much.

Any suggestions will be great!!!!!! I'm always open to new ideas that could help me get in better shape.

Oh, and I'm getting married on April 4th, 2009. I NEED TO LOOK BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
