Static Lunges

Post by ballas38 »

1. I've seen some people doing static lunges for the deisred reps, then they switch the position of their legs and repeat the reps, while others don't. What's the correct?

I think he means lunging on the same Leg for reps, then doing it on the other Leg, as opposed to alternating Legs after each rep.

I think the poster meant stationary, not static. Like doing all the reps with one leg instead of switching legs each rep. It's mostly personally preference. If someone is using a heavy bar they may feel more stable staying in one place than switching back and forth often.
