It depends. I've never heard of them, so would it be possible to give us a nutritional breakdown, so we know how much Protein, Carbs etc etc are in them?

I'm concerned about the 15g's of Sugar, and 2.5 grams of Saturated Fats.

You're RDA Saturated Fats is around 6grams a day. So nearly half in one drink.

Unless the Sugar was something like Dextrose or Maltodextrin, which wouldn't be so bad.

You would be better probably having something like Myoplex drinks instead as an alternative, as they've got a lot less Sugar and less Fat.

That's just opinion though, I don't use Myoplex drinks.

The 15gms of sugar is nothing really. The recommended intake for saturated fat is no more than 10% of total calories so an appropriate amount for each individual is highly variable. 1 gram of fat has 9 calories so this product only provides 22.5 calories from saturated fat. 6 grams a day would only be 54 calories and is most likely not remotely near 10%.

Well when you point out the 22.5 calories from Saturated Fat, it doesn't seem to bad after all.

I hadn't thought about it like that, I just thought about the number. I was aware about the 9 calories per gram, but I didn't think about it from that perspective, I was just thinking about the type of Fat it was.

i'll take sat. fat from something better than an mrp so i'd drink milk or eat eggs, cheese or natural peanut butter for exemple

15gr of sugar is nothing as long as it is not eaten with alot of fat and just before bed time...

after running i eat like 75-100 gr of sugar in form of honey or gatorade.
