hows this for a workout schedule?

Monday: Chest/Biceps/Back

Tuesday:Cardio/Off day

Wednesday:Shoulders/Triceps

Thursday:Abs/Legs

Friday: Chest/Biceps/Back

Saturday:Cardio/Legs

Sunday: Off day

*Tell me what you think. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

You shouldn't be able to do cardio on a leg day.

If you're trying to add muscle do this.

Mon: Chest
Tues: Back
Wed: Off
Thurs: Legs
Fri: Off
Saturday: Bi's, Tri's, Shoulders, Abs
Sunday: Off

the split i gave you is much better..bood luck with those one's

i love people coming on here for advice then only use the advice they WANT to hear

hmm thanks. i'll try both suggestions and see what works for me.
but since i havent really done any bodyweight exercises before, it might take more time to get used to it.
and of course jus cause it works for someone doesn't mean it works for EVERYBODY else.

Hey kid,

It's always your body to work to your will, try and fail, try and succeed... either way you will learn. Don't try and you will never learn!

Personally I would never split as you suggested but that's me. The only splits I encourage is upper/lower splits but do as you see fit for you. Cardio and lower weights is a ruff go in the same day.

Most important, 5- 10 minutes warm up before lifting (ie, walking jogging, elyptical, skipping, etc.), use a spotter, watch your form, stretch after you're workouts, eat clean and rest!
