Just a quick question..... Is this a club or a class or what? You're supposed to lift 5 days a week? All research points to 3 to 4 times a week resistance training at the most to allow the body to heal and grow. Are you sure its only lifting or does this also include things like cardio and sprints and boxing, etc.?

Cheers

its a gym class about an hour focused only on weight training.
the routine is, we warm up with 5 min cardio then we go lift.
we do have a heavy bag and cardio machines but problem is, when i start lifting, i can't really stop.

so r u saying i should have 1 day of just cardio?
cuz i see some peoples schedules, they train 5-6 days a week doing splits and just working different muscle groups so i thought why not do the same?

so is this safe? any suggestions?

thanks in advance. peace.

you should do 3 full body wt days then 2 bodyweight/conditioning/cardio type type days alternating them through the 5 days

what are you actually meant to get out of these classes?
