For the past 3 or 4 months I have been really irregular with period...like this time last period was august 24th and I just got period again sept 4th :? ...I read somehwere that bf% can affect ur period...and also running??? does anybody have a CLUE...and second...for weight and height (119- 5'6") Is it okey to take 175g of protein a day? which is 114 which is 117x1.5 would taking that amount of protein make me gain weight ? or maybe in the future??? I weight lift for 45-50 min a day 3 times a week(full body) and cardio days off from weight..
any help would be appreciated :):):):)

not sure on the period thing obviously...overtraining can cause this i think but i would have thought it would make you miss not speed it up...you'll only gain wt if OVERALL cal's are too high, not one nutrient in most cases anyway

Not sure but I would say weight fluctuations and exercise, may have some effect on hormones, and thereby affect womens issues a bit, but that's just me using reasoned logic, not presenting hard facts, as I can't adequately say.

I've found that exercising can both increase and decrease your cycle. Several years ago mine went away for several months (I was annorexic and was exercising excessively). Once I started eating again it came back and was twice a month for several months. I actually had to get on the pill to make it more regular because it was so screwed up. Sooo... in answer to your question... diet and exercise can definitely mess with your cycle. If it continues you might go see your doctor to make sure everything is ok. :)
