When is the best time for me to eat fruit - with lunch around 2 p.m. or after workout at 6 p.m.? Some say it is best you do not eat it later in the day and others say it is best to eat after a workout. Which advice should I take?
10-15 or as much as 30 minutes before a Breakfast, to help it digest, and the same goes for the next meal and your Lunch as well.
Don't bother after workouts. Fructose is a simple Carb, interacts with the Liver, spikes Bloodsugar up, but has little effect in most cases on Muscle Glycogen replenishment.
Later in the days is not necessary. You have Carbs from things like Whole-grains, Dairy, Legumes, Cashews, and Veggies, so you don't need Fruit Carbs later, and because simple interact with the Liver, some simple Sugar can convert to Fat, the rest as an energy source.
