Help, have fibromyaglia and bad knees

Post by alexandriaz »

:?: Hi everyone! I use to be an avid workout person, get up at 4:00am workout, drink protein shakes, drink water, weight lift, I looked and felt great!! But then three years ago I had knee surgry done on both knees, insurance changed right after surgeries and wouldnt cover physical therapy now I can barely bend either kneees, I cant run, or do jumping jacks, and now to top it off I have fibromyalgia, I am determined to get back into shape. I need to lose 10lbs and I need to firm up, build muscle. What would be the best tricep builder for me and what can I do for legs without hurting knees anymore? any advise would be great!!!

thanks

what's fibromyaglia?

you probably simply need to learn leg exercises properly and find soem progressions to acheive full range of motion but i don't think there is ever a reason for not be able to do them in some shape or form

This might be one for Boss Man. He always seems to have some tucked away info on things like this.

I would talk to doctor on range of motion excercise and stretching you could do which would burn calories, improve circulation and help you on your way to your goal.... I believe 10 lbs could be done with diet alone for you

diet and nutrition forum sticky "read this before posting"

As for muscle development, full upper body routine don't consentrate on such a small muscle group as triceps, use compound movements. And for lower I would definately talk to doctor or talk to a physiotherapist for one appointment even if you have to pay for it.

cheers
