i know how u feel

Post by oniz »

Hi I know exactly how u feel cause I felt like that when I first started working out. There is also other reasons why I used to get discouraged. Like for example not eating the right foods when I didnt attend the gym and even when I attended. Try to encorage urself first off by changing what you would eat a day. Eat lean proteins like chicken breast, grilled or baked , tuna, salmon and fish. Eat good carbs like wheat bread, brocolli and brown rice. Eat fruits instead of chips and cakes..trust me once u start eating right you will want to continue to go to the gym cause now ur eating right and excersising and the best thing is now ur seeing results..
Good luck..If I did it you can do it..Ohh and another thing.. I buy myself gym outfits to keep myself encourage to go to the gym.jeje.

lifestyle change, habits etc. need at least 21 days to take affect. So start by going to your calander and plan your next 30 days on when you do weights and when you do cardio.

Next, toss the crap food in the house and buy the good stuff and write your grocery list before you go shopping and stick to it.

3rd plan your meals at least a day in advance for the whole day not just dinner.

Things are easier if you have goals, be specific and write 3 or 4 things done you want from this, ie, 6 pack, thinner waist, "toned" arms, increase endurance to 45 minute jogs, etc. Post it where you will see it always, ie the fridge.

Take your body measurements, and a front, back and side photo of yourself and put them beside your goals. Take the pics and measurements every two weeks on saturday or sunday.

Forget about the scale, it ain't worth it. Go by how you feel, your photos, body measurements, and the mirror.

Cheers
