Hi everyone...I just joined the site and had a question. Hopefully someone can help.

Is it possible to change your workouts to those exercises you already do?

Thanks in advance!

Are you saying just reshuffling existing exercises, into a different arrangement or order, in order to get over a plateau for example?

Yes. Thats a good example. When I first went to workouts, it had already created a list of excercises and I wanted to personalize workouts.

Not sure how it even knew level of fitness or what workout days were.

When you say you went to workouts, are you talking about a personalized workout website or software?

If you are, I've never heard of it or that before.

From the Platinum member page, Workout Plan. When I click on that, a workout has already been created. Not sure how that happened.

Well you could customise something like that a bit.

Exapmle, you switch Falt Barbell Bench Press for Flat Dumbbell Bench Press, or you switch something like Preacher Curls, for Concentration Curls, but I would probably go for similar exercises, like don't switch say Bench Press, for something like Inclinded Dumbell Flyes, as the incline and different range of motion, will alter the way you work Chest, and slightly change the shape.

So you could alter something like that a little, otherwise you'd have to start from scratch doing your own.

Well, after reading a little bit more, it appears as if the exercises in Workouts were created by an on-line trainer. I dont think I can change them. However, I'm not sure how a workout was created for me without any input to goals.

If anyone knows how to change or customize " Workouts" please let me know.

Thanks.

has anyone ever changed their workouts that were created by the site?

monday work out is as follows:
Chest-Barbell Bench press 4 sets
Chest-Dumbell Incline Bench press 4 sets
Back-Pull downs 4 sets
Back-One Arm Rows 4 sets
Triceps-Brainbusters 4 sets
Triceps-Rope pressdowns 4 sets

Abs

Cardio 45 minutes on the eliptical

Now, how do I (customize) workouts on ShapeFit.com to reflect this. Once I know that, then I can do every day of the week.

Thanks for the help all.
