working out but not seeing weight loss

Post by jkesler01 »

I've been working out 4-5 days a week for 2 weeks now 30 to 45 minutes cardio and 15-30 minutes on the various weight machines. I feel better but not seeing any real weight loss. How long should it take for me to see some results?

Ellipical 15 minutes Level 2 Cardio
Treadmill 15 minutes Cardio
Stationary Bike for 10 minutes
Then the weight machines for 10-15 minutes.
I guess I'm expecting imediate results and I've only been doing this for 2 weeks. I have a very slow metabolism and really have not worked out or anything for almost 4 years since having to have ACL fixed from Taekwondo injury. I really have felt better since I started this which is great but I was wanting to get body back like it was B4 the end of the year. Do you think it can be done?

metabolism is the key to wt loss and body maintenence so until this improves don't expect to lose a great deal...metabolism is improved through frequent meals (read "read before posting..." in diet section here), thermic cal's such as solid protein, and crunchy veg (same article) and intense exercise (search your body is a barbell by alwyn cosgrove)...easy cardio and wt machines arén't intense enough...i'm not sure what you're sons are doing but at 12 and 13 they should also be doing the above ,entioned program and not wt work if indeed they are already

maybe not by the end of the year but it depends how quick you can get the food and exercise organised and how much compliance you can give it

definately look at diet sticky

free weights (compound movements) before cardio

try sprints/intervals

I suggest you to consider your diet again. Forthat you should take help from an expert. You can also get tips and ideas from diet sites.
