Best exercises at home?

I don't have the time or money to go to the gym regularly, so I've opted to work out at home. I've been doing mostly resistance stuff, like push-ups, pull-ups, squats, etc. I don't have much in the way of weights, just a couple small dumb-bells and one bigger one. Should I keep doing this kind of stuff? Any tips on an exact regime? I'm thinking of just focusing on one muscle group a day.
Is it good to work out every day, concentrating on one muscle area a day and maybe resting on the weekend?

make sure you know what your goals are first. Second write down your typical workout for your week and thirdly your diet (what you eat each day and when)

I personally like total days off in between lifting. I lift 3 days a week. Do everything on those days. I do cardio, ab work, squats, lunges, push-ups and so on 6 days a week. Sprinting 2-3 days.

doing everything on the same day is overkill...the old wts and cardio mon alternate days is the way to go...one or both modes will be suffering doing all on the same day...you'll also burn less cal's by only training 3/week then 5 - 6 days a week

So lift one day and cardio the next?
Sprinting sounds good, I should get into that. Usually, I just go biking for an hour.

I don't see anything wrong with doing whole body sessions every other day. It is not the best routine, but it isn't bad either. The key is to make the most out of the session and make sure that you get lots of rest on the off days.

To answer the original question, body weight workouts are great. I use them when I'm on the road.
