Diet for Waterbury Plan

Post by Kinder »

Hi guys,
From Monday I will be starting the Waterbury plan as recommended on this forum and I just wondered if anyone could comment on the diet I will be using? Want to make sure it's all ok before I begin, any help would be much appreciated

Breakfast (8am) =
*Banana
*Whey protein shake
*2 bowls of Weetabix

Calories = 600
Fat = 10g
Protein = 40g

Snack (Post Workout 11am) =
*High Calorie protein shake
*1 bowl of Weetabix

Calories = 800
Fat = 7g
Protein = 60g

Lunch (12.30pm) =
*Whole-wheat pasta, southern fried chicken, tomato sauce and vegetables

Calories = 750
Fat = 20g
Protein = 30g

Snack (3.00pm) =
*Sandwich – 2 pieces of bread, lettuce and meat

Calories = 400
Fat = 10g
Protein = 20g

Dinner (6.00pm) =
*Jacket potato, vegetables, tuna and gravy

Calories = 500
Fat = 5g
Protein = 40g

Snack (9.00pm) =
*Whey protein shake
* Crackers

Calories = 500
Fat = 5g
Protein = 40g

TOTAL CALORIES = 3200
TOTAL FAT = 55g
TOTAL PROTEIN = 213g

Do these final figures seem ok to build a good level of muscle mass? Not sure if protein levels are too high considering that I weigh 140 pounds? Also are the fat levels are too high? Thanks

- 2 bowls or 2 actual weetbix?
- don't count cal's, it's a waste of time
- you should have a high fibre cereal for breakfast actually and keep the weetbix for post meal
- you don't really want a high cal shake, just a regular shake and eat thew rest of your cal's...i have 6 weetbix when i have them
- fried chicken?? not good...chicken breast is better....pasta portion should be about palm sized at it's biggest
- all other meals are to be solid protein, veg and salad...no more carbs (bread, potatoe, pasta, rice etc)
- shake is only for post meal, no other time
- the cal total will easily be enough jusf make sure that you don't gain too much fat at the same time
