I'm just starting out, goal being mainly to put on muscle mass and was planning on the following workout schedule:
Mon: Arms/forearms
Tues: Off
Wed: Legs/abs
Thur: Off
Fri: Shoulders
Sat: Off
Sun: Back/Chest
A lot of stuff that I've read has said to workout each part once a week, lifting heavy. I was planning on 3-4 sets with 4-10 reps and 2-4 different exercises for each part. Each week I was going to work out the same muscles, but switch out the exercises. I'm definitely an ectomorph, so I'm not sure if that will really change any of it. Good idea? Bad idea? Any suggestions? Thanks!
