Katie... I was mixing it with water and mixing some in with oatmeal. I'm pretty hesitant to give up oatmeal but it sounds like I might need to? I love morning bowl of oatmeal. :(

that's the shit thing about am workouts, you don't get to have to have 2 "sugary" meals, not broken up anyway

Cassie. Oatmeal may possibly slow absorption down after workouts, but high GI carbs increase muscle Glycogen, and Bloodsugar as well. Simple don't because simple interact with the Liver. Bloodsugar elevation will occur, but musle Glycogen replenishment will be little to none, via Simple Carbs, which means much slower replenishment.

As I've said before, in a stright choice between simple Carbs, and high GI complex, complex win hands down every time for me.
