No idea at all. Any 80's sitcoms I watched were British.

Actually Eastenders yes, Neighbours is pish, and all it did was spawn a lot of crummy singers, blerrch.

The names you mentioned sounded familiar, but that's all. The fact is, it all depends on what the Networks here, bought and showed, to suppleemnt their own stuff.

I never did get the majority of foreign stuff, like Aussie, American stuff. Some raved about it, but apart from the A-Team, I never got into things like The Fall Guy, Chips, MacGuyver, Airwolf etc etc, and Night Rider was absolute trash.

A talking car and a ponce in a leather jacket, no thanks .

I admit actually I used to watch that saved by the bell thing, I don't know why now, and that boy meets world thing. I think I kind of identified with the people at the time. Similar ages to me more or less.

He only sort of American stuff I liked in more recent years, was King Of The Hill, Beavis And Butthead, The Simpsons, Rosanne and Frasier. I like the fact Frasier is a novel concept which cannot be replicated.

I'll admit to Ninja Turtles, He-man and Fresh Prince.

I used to like something called Rude Dog And The Dweebs. There was a guy I knew who for a while used to think he was Rude dog, and called everyone else Dweebs.

A tad deluded me thinks
