Advice!

Post by mary_p »

Hey! I am new at this....but I am 20, about 5'6 and about 160. I have a lot of muscle...but I would like to loose some of it. Any good ideas? It is mostly in legs since I played soccer for about 14 years.

i'm not one for burning muscle and playing soccer can't build any appreciable muscle by itself..i'd say you need to get your food in order and loose whatever exces you have before trying to lose muscle...go to diet section and read the sticky "read before posting..."

what are you doin training wise?

NOt another, it's impossible, if you legs are too big, for sure there's muscles but there's fat if you believe they are too big. Look at some "juiced" female BBer they have big muscular leg, but unless your are on AAS too you will remain a women. Lift Heavy, eat healthy and you will be proud of the results. Loosing muscles isn't the solution, by loosing fat and gaining muscles you will reach the physic you want.

Read the sticky in diet forum,

Tell us what's the equipment you have access too,

and NO running won't makes your leg bigger ... The burn or pumps when running means nothing, I can pump up chest while reading this post and no I'm not getting any bigger that way LOL

The Leg Muscle you might have is good, and time and age will remove some of it anyway. If you lose it now, you might increase the risk of Lower Body pain in old age.

By all means try to lose some Fat all over, but don't sacrifice the muscle. Whatever you have it's a good thing, and it could make a difference in your old age.
